Art. Period 3-4

Todays Lesson

We were told to research
'Terry Gilliam - Monty Python Cartoons'

Then we were asked to do a Design brief on a campaign for Children's Rights
Our animations are meant to be humorous to keep the viewers entertained but to also to educate.

Terrence Vance "Terry" Gilliam

Born 22 November 1940

An American-born British writer, filmmaker, animator, actor and member of the Monty Python comedy troupe.

He is the only "Python" not born in Britain, but gained British citizenship in 1968.

Project Brief

Campaign for children’s Rights

http://www.unicef.org/crc/?gclid=CLvrk-vwuZ0CFaAA4wodDhXUiQ

Myself Kianne and Junior are campaigning for the right for children to have clean water. We want to get across the message that we take water for granted and that people in other countries would take it as a privilege.

We want to add humour to our animation but don’t want to offend anyone.

We want to entertain, educate and inform.

Media Lesson

In today's media lesson we were asked to log onto blogger then sit around the table.
While we were sitting around the table we were reading an article called
"your film on the internet"
The article had us asking questions and debates
As we got to the end of the article we were left thinking.
